Kolman Prosthetics & Orthotics has been in business since 1924 serving the beautiful city of Whittier. After working for Hangar as lead prosthetic, Alex saw the need to for in-house manufacturing and same day repairs to be the only solution for his patients to live their lives to the fullest.
In 1997, 2rd Generation Prosthetist, Alex Friere became the 3rd Owner of Kolman and continued his family tradition while keeping manufacturing on-site. He continues solve the discomfort problems that are common with artificial limbs and give his patients a new hope to walk, run, model, compete, or simple go back to work in comfort and confidence.
